The Macedonian short “Bardo”, directed by Marija Apcevska, is scheduled to take part at the 2012 Adana “Golden Boll” International Film Festival that will take place in Adana, Turkey, over the period of September 17- 23. The film is 14 min long and is shot from a child’s point of view, capturing a little girl’s perception of the world that surrounds her.
The aim of the Adana “Golden Boll” Film Festival is to offer a presentation of films made by young filmmakers living along the Mediterranean coast, thus promoting their creative and artistic efforts, while at the same time providing a dialogue platform among participants.
“Bardo” had its world premiere at this year’s Berlinale and has already won several awards at prominent film festivals. The film will also have a screening as part of the Short Film program at the 33th International Cinematographers’ Film Festival “Manaki Brothers”, taking place September 15-21 in Bitola.
