MakeDox Creative Documentary Film Festival organizes a 6-day workshop (June 15- 20, 2014) on Creative Use of Archival Footage in Documentary Film, led by Serbian director Mira Turajlic and Israeli producer/director Noemi Schory, to be held at Kurshumli An and the Cinematheque of Macedonia, Skopje.
The workshop covers the main aspects of archival documentary film-making. Through looking at successful examples of creative use of archival footage in different types of documentaries, from historical, to personal and intimate, the workshop will be devoted to understanding how to make use of the dramatic and narrative potential of archive.
Interested candidates can apply on email@example.com by June 1st at the latest. 10 selected candidates will be able to benefit from the workshop. Selected candidates will be notified by e-mail no later than June 5th, 2014.
The workshop fee is 100 EUR. The fee doesn’t cover participants travel, accommodation and food. Few sessions will be open for observers (free of charge).
