The Festival of European Film-Cinedays kicks its 12th edition tomorrow, with the premiere of Brett Morgen’s music documentary “Crossifre Hurricane” dedicated to the rock-music legends Rolling Stones, and “Sacro GRA” by Gianfranco Rosi.
The rich festival program, held under the motto “Europe Does It Best”, includes a selection of the very best of Europe’s and world’s cinematography with acclaimed names such as Woody Allen, Brian De Palma, Steven Soderbergh, Michael Winterbottom, Giuseppe Tornatore and many others.
The Festival will also offer various workshops, classes and meetings by a number of distinguished industry professionals.
Macedonian cinema is also present at the Festival with “After the Rain (Climate Testimonials)” by Biljana Garvanlieva, “Pursuit of Luck” by Marija Dzidzeva, “Hair” by Eleonora Veninova, the premiere of Ivo Trajkov latest film “Only for Losers” and the Greek/Portuguese/Dutcch/Turkish/Macedonian co-production “J.A.C.E.” by Menelaos Karamaghiolis.
The Festival closes Nov. 23 with Goran Markovic’s “Forger”.
