Macedonian Premiere of “To Guard A Mountain”


Izer Aliu’s short film “To Guard a Mountain” premiers today, February 27, at the Cinematheque of Macedonia, starting at 6 PM.

“To Guard a Mountain” is a family drama dealing with a troubled father-son relationship, with Besim Murtezani and Burham Amiti in the leading roles of the son and father, respectively.

The film has already won the prestigious AMANDA award at the 2012 Norwegian International Film festival and was declared the Best Norwegian Short Film at the Film Festival in Bergen.

The film is a VEDA Films and the Norwegian Film School in Lillehamer production and is supported by the Macedonian Film Fund.
