Skopje Premiere Of Feature Film “Lazar”
The latest feature film “Lazar” by Svetozar Ristovski will be screened tonight within the programme of Skopje Film Festival – wich doubles as the Skopje premiere of the film, following its world premiere at last year’s IFFC “Manaki Brothers” in Bitola.
The cast includes the Croatian actor Vedran Zivolic and Macedonian actress Natasha Petrovic in the main roles of Lazar and Katerina, alongside Goran Navojec, Dejan Lilic, Vlado Jovanovski, Toni Mihajlovski, Krasimira Kuzmanova, Aleksandar Sano and Aleksandra Balzamovic. The film is written by Svetozar Ristovski and Grace Lea Troje with Dejan Dimeski as cinematographer.
The film is a Macedonian (Small Moves Production)/Bulgarian/Croatian and French co-production and is supported by the Macedonian Film Agency with a majority film support. The project has also received support by the European film fund “Eurimages”.
The 19t edition of Skopje Film Festival which runs until April 30 shall feature a rich film and additional program of around 80 titles, including some of the recent Macedonian short and documentary film production. Film screenings will take place at cinema Millennnium and Frosina and the Cinemateque of Macedonia.
