Jani Bojadzi’s short “The End of the World” has entered the official competition of the 6th Thessaloniki International Short Film Festival taking place December 12-16 at the Alexandros Cultural Centre in Thessaloniki. The film will compete against 10 other films selected from over 500 entries, from 20 countries from Chile to China and from Morocco to Iceland.
The festival is organized under the auspices of the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr. Janis Butaris and it’s main objective is the screening of exceptional and outstanding shorts cinema.
“The End of the World” had its world premiere at the 2012 Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival and has since been screened at more than 20 international film festivals in Germany, France, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Albania, Switzerland, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Holland, Australia, Egypt and Japan and is expected the following year to take part at festivals in Denmark, Russia and USA.
The film is supported by the Macedonian Ministry of Culture and the Macedonian Film Fund.
