“The Man In The Habit Of Hitting Me On The Head With An Umbrella” Wins First Prize In Valladolid




Vardan Tozija’s short “The Man in the Habit of Hitting Me on the Head with an Umbrella” has won Meeting Point Best Foreign Short award at the 57th Seminci – Valladolid International Film Festival, taking place October 20-27 in Spain. The film was screened as part of the Meeting Point section, featuring international films of exceptional thematic and stylistic achievement, with this year’s selection including 10 european titles.
Since its beginnings in 1956, Valladolid has grown into one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious film festivals, showcaсing  films of the world’s most innovative authors.
This is a second award for the film, based on the short story of Argentinian writer Fernando Sorrentino, after winning the Silver Djed award in Luxor.
