The Macedonian premiere of the animated short film “Blue Key” directed by Jelena Beshir

The Macedonian premiere of the animated short film “Blue Key” directed by Jelena Beshir will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, from 20h,  in “Café Cinema KOTUR”

The film “Blue Key” written and directed by Jelena Beshir explores the relationship between the author and her work, the clash between reality and imagination. Walking through the city SHE is surrounded by the “sound chaos” of the people around her. Entering an old house, she comes across a sculpture that she takes home with her. As she falls asleep, the sculpture comes alive… The film is inspired by the work “An Ivory Woman” written by the Yugoslavian writer Ivo Andric.

This film was made by: Jelena Beshir as writer, director & animator, Ivan Ivanovski as animator & puppet sculptor, Nebojsha Petrovic as director of photography, Balsha Boshkovic as editor, Milan Milosavljevic (Serbia) & Elena Stanisheva (Macedonia) as producers, and the music used in the film is “Othello” by the world acclaimed composer Chilly Gonzales, performed by Jelena Beshir & Ana Vasic.

The film is financially support by the Film Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbian Film Centre & Ministy of culture of R. Serbia,  produced by “Studenstki grad” – DKSG from Serbia and co-produced by VEDA Film Productions from Macedonia.
