North Macedonia Film Agency joins the EFADs (Association of European Film  Agency Directors) – great opportunities for our film industry

The General Assembly of the Association of European Film  Agency Directors EFADs today announced the decision on the reception of the North Macedonia Film Agency in this significant association. The Director of the North Macedonia Film Agency, Mr. Gorjan Tozija  spoke in front of the members, presenting the efforts made by the Government in support of the film production as well as the activities we undertake for the promotion of the film industry in our country. This was followed by a Q&A by the heads of European film centers-members of this association.

Strengthening film potential, copyright regulation and the fight against piracy, fostering film education and expanding film production, film heritage and film art as a whole to make it accessible to a wider audience are the main benefits of the membership in Association of European Film  Agency Directors.

EFADs represents the voice of European film agencies and counts 33 film organizations from the European continent, a figure growing year by year, while the EFADs board is made up of representatives from 12 countries.

EFADs have three working groups dedicated to digital age, copyright and the fight against piracy and film education.

In addition, at the Macedonian stand at Marche du film, meetings were held with the directors of the film agencies in the region, discussing opportunities for networking and collaborations and initiatives that would be beneficial to the film industry professionals.
